    President-Director of Shell Netherlands Dick Benschop gave a speech at the NUFFIC annual conference in Utrecht on March 11th, 2014. In his speech titled International is the new normal Benschop addresses the issue of internationalisation and importance of the role of education in economic development and innovation.

    Delft is a city that has borne many of the Netherlands’ great painters, scientists and noteworthy historical figures. Names such as Johannes Vermeer and Hugo Grotius are part of its rich cultural tapestry. It is also known as the city of princes – the Dutch royalty are interred in its churches, the most famous of them, William of Orange.

Being a teacher who has lived and worked abroad for over 25 years, she has seen how transition can be difficult for kids to handle.

    Translating a book from Dutch to English is no easy feat, especially when Dutch isn’t your native language. When the opportunity arose for me to translate a book by Dr. Henk Fransen, I was ecstatic. This book had come to mean so much to me after my diagnosis of breast cancer in 2007.
