ACCESS Volunteer Vacancies
Telephone Helpdesk Volunteer

ACCESS, a non for profit organization working closely with the English speaking international and expat community is looking for a volunteer willing to train and carry out the duties of Telephone Helpdesk (THD) for our Hague office.

Desired abilities and attributes:

Manage the ambiguity associated with relocating to a new environment Good interpersonal skills
Minimize the uncertainty associated with understanding a new and often confusing set of rules, regulations and processes Ability to maintain good communication links with staff
Reduce the level of stress and frustration associated with learning to live in The Netherlands Ability to support team members
Reduce the level of stress and frustration associated with learning to live in The Netherlands Ability to train new volunteers
Reduce the level of stress and frustration associated with learning to live in The Netherlands Ability to stimulate and maintain a harmonious team atmosphere

The candidates will need to make a commitment of at least 3 months to ACCESS and be available for 12 or more hours a week. Motiviation of yourself and others and planning skills are vital for this role.
