Volunteer Resources Social Coordinator

ACCESS, a non for profit organization working closely with the English speaking international and expat community is looking for a volunteer willing to coordinate social events for the volunteers in our Hague office. The position will work within the Volunteer Resource Team.

The responsibilities are:

Manage the ambiguity associated with relocating to a new environment Planning, coordinating and implementing monthly social activities
Minimize the uncertainty associated with understanding a new and often confusing set of rules, regulations and processes Organizing monthly volunteer lunches
Reduce the level of stress and frustration associated with learning to live in The Netherlands Creating new ideas to promote team building
Reduce the level of stress and frustration associated with learning to live in The Netherlands Maintaining a positive climate in the ACCESS office

The team member will need to make a commitment of at least 6 months to ACCESS and be available to work on Tuesdays and Thursdays (minimum 6 hours per week). Motivation, creativity, enthusiasm, flexibility along with planning and communication skills are vital for this role.
