| Childbirth Preparation Course |

Our popular 6 session courses are aimed at couples in the last trimester of pregnancy and are designed to give you and your partner the knowledge and confidence that will lead to a positive birth experience in The Netherlands.
The course is presented by an English-speaking, qualified midwife.
Some of the topics covered include:
• Introduction to the Dutch Health Care System
• Normal labour and childbirth
• Medical interventions (forceps, vacuum use, induction procedures, etc.
• Breathing and relaxation exercises for various strengths of labour
• Toning/strengthening exercises for the pelvic floor and abdominal muscles
• Pain relief, including epidurals
• Post partum period
